ASD

Autism Spectrum Disorders

ASD is a group of symptoms that affect a person's quality of life to a greater or lesser extent, influencing the development of important capacities and abilities in communication and social interaction, sensory processing, as well as restricted interests or stereotyped behaviors that give rise to difficulties in understanding and responding to the demands of the environment.

From the Xtraordinary Methodology, in our speech:

We consider neurological, sensory, social and communicative characteristics as natural differences in human development, ensuring an inclusive and integrative view

We seek sensitive contexts to limit relational barriers and promote adaptation to the environment through educational and therapeutic programs

We value how symptoms are influencing a person's mental well-being, reducing the anxiety or suffering that these challenges can cause when they are not understood by the environment.

We carry out a relational approach, stimulating a person's particular way of brain development, focusing on improving their quality of life.

We promote differentiated development, strengthening autonomy, accompanying the various challenges in the person's evolutionary process.

We offer multidisciplinary services, advocating new lines of intervention according to advances in neuroscience and neuroeducation.

We rely on technology to find supports that promote the quality of life of people with ASD

We accompany the family and the different caregiver environments through counseling and working together
