High Capacities

High capacity is a multidimensional concept that includes advanced skills in areas such as logical reasoning, memory, creativity and perception.

It is often accompanied by particular sensitivities and challenges in the social, emotional and sensory spheres, which is why we consider this group to be part of the neurodiversity in our methodology.

People with high abilities stand out for their superior performance or potential in one or more domains, and they may have neurodivergent characteristics that impact the way they learn, think and process information.

To promote the healthy development of people with high abilities, from Xtraordinary Methodology, it is crucial to provide an educational, family and social environment that recognizes and celebrates cognitive and emotional diversity including:

Educational programs that adapt to the individual's level of ability, interests and learning pace.

Emotional support and support groups that understand the emotional and social complexities associated with being neurodivergent and having high capacities.

Foster self-acceptance by understanding and valuing your own neurodivergence and abilities as valuable aspects of your identity.

Accompaniment to the family to provide guidance for adequate care and communication to promote well-being.
